Whole-House Air Filtration | Air Purifier
Ultraviolet (UV) Lamps
A UV lamp installed in your air conditioning system kills mold that thrives in the cool, dark environment your system provides. It also kills airborne bacteria and allergens, removes unpleasant odors, and all while helping to prolong the life of your system.
Air Filtration System
Whole-house air filtration systems are another means to the same end. They can be installed in your furnace or AC air handler and filter out airborne pollutants as the air passes through your ducts. There are different types of whole-house systems, but the most effective is a HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) filter. They capture a minimum of 99.7 percent of pollutants that pass through the system, and that’s about as thorough as can be.
Electrostatic Air Filters
These are used in place of the standard system filters you’re already using. They’re electrically charged, thus enabling them to attract and trap a greater number of airborne pollutants. They’re also easy to clean and re-usable.
